Are you hesitant to get into the batter's box and swing at the next pitch?

You cannot hit the ball without swinging at it. And that requires you to
actually get into the batter's box. Everything great starts with the idea
that they can hit the ball, whatever that means to you, and them.
So, first decide what you want in life and then go after it with all you
have. Get into the batter's box and swing, swing, swing.
上面的文章是從國外的一個網站複製過來，主要是他引用Babe Ruth那一句話
所以我認為strike在這句話是揮擊的意思。每一次的揮擊讓我更接近下一支全壘打
有看過Babe Ruth紀綠片的就可以發現
他每次都是揮大棒，球只要進入好球帶範圍都不例外
要就尻一支大的，不然就揮個大空棒，把握每一次的揮擊永不放棄

他每次站上打擊區就只想尻全壘打，他只想一次把四個壘包踩完回來

最後是小弟的一些想法
strike也是好球的意思，但我認為是為了方便播報員才把好球簡稱為strike
因著strike zone(k zone)的關係，把球投進去才會有strike called or called strike
好球要超過三個才算出局(界外不算)。所以2好球後，
第三個好球沒揮棒稱為strike 3 called，揮空棒叫strike out or swing and miss
called strike

ball是壞球的意思，固名思義就是k zone外面的球，英文叫unfair ball
後來就簡稱為ball
